More Polymer Critters

I like to name my clay sculptures.  I met a very talented sculptor a few years ago at the Arts Institute.  He said we should always name our sculptures, and I kind of forgot about what he said until one of my students reminded me of that the other day.   I guess that's probably why I've been naming these little critters.  Thank you to my daughter, Katie, for coming up with their names for me.
"Barnaby" is my first 'boy' polymer sculpture.
And this one is "Sparkle".

Making a miniature polymer clay sculpture does take a little time, but I love
seeing the results when they all come together.  Another thing I really
like is the clay is colored, but you need to really be careful to keep
the clay clean as you work with it.

More Polymer Miniatures--Go Green! Go White!

Meet my cheerleader polymer bunny, "Callie".  These little polymer miniatures are so much fun to make. I always text my daughter, Katie, with photos of my miniatures when I'm done sculpting them. She helped me name my last two and this one is named Callie.  I like it.  Callie is a Cowgirl and cheerleader.

From 3D to 2D

This watercolor painting is from a sculpture I made of a little polymer teddy bear "Tulip" (below).    I love little whimsical animal art miniatures.  They make me smile.

Angel art

I'm hoping to get back into painting more watercolor angel paintings.  This one sold, but this is for an instant download of my sold painting.  I also have a clipart image of it on my Etsy shop.  This one is titled "Heavenly Guardian".

Paper Flower Garlands

These paper flower garlands are so colorful.  The first one has beautiful neon colors.  The second one has a variety of colors and some of the flowers are beautiful ink flowers. Some of the flowers are embellished with beautiful pearl centers and some have rhinestone centers. They both are very lovely.

Watercolor Paintings

These colors remind me so much of spring and Easter.

Polymer miniatures

I have recently started to work with polymer clay.  Making these little miniatures really
puts a smile on my face.  You can view these on my Etsy shop.

Palette Knife Painting

This painting was inspired by my love of flowers, color and impressionism.
I love painting with a palette knife simply because of the beautiful texture you can get with it.
These poppies are so rich in color and make me wish for summer.

This original modern abstract has multiple acrylic colors including gold, blue, red violet and purple to create a luminous colorful impressionistic painting with lots of texture.
