The last couple of years I really got into pottery more, especially stoneware.

Here's some of my favorite stoneware pieces.
This one is one of my favorites. This little tray was stamped first and then shaped to hold candles, soaps, jewelry or whatever someone
would like to use it for. I then glazed it in my crystal blue glaze which
turned out very unique.
I love to make these bowls. They are made out of stoneware clay and then shaped in the form of a poppy flower.
This one was then glazed with a beautiful turquoise glaze.
I really like the gold and vanilla combination in this one. It's a tiny bowl but has a very rich look to it.

One of my most recent mediums that I love is watercolor painting. I hadn't worked with watercolors since college, but I have recently been inspired when I saw some beautiful watercolor paintings on a Pinterest board so I decided to give it a try again. I haven't had a lot of time this summer to paint much, but when I do, it
probably will be with watercolors. I just love the translucency of
watercolors.
Here's some of my most recent watercolor paintings.
I would have to say this one is my favorite. I painted this one in 2012. We have many plum thickets around here and I got my idea from them for this painting. I couldn't believe the wide variety of fall colors on the leaves and the berries. This one was so much fun to paint.
This painting was inspired by a trip to a butterfly garden and also because I've always been in love with impressionism and Monet's work.
His waterlily paintings are some of my favorites.
I got inspired to do this piece from a flower arrangement in my house. I love
yellow and pink together and it worked well in this little painting.
